Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the TUMCOS Mobile Banking application and TUMCOS GoDown 360° e-Services application and related digital services provided by Tota Utpannagala Marata Sahakara Sangha Niyamitha (TUMCOS ).

By downloading, installing, registering for, accessing or using any of these applications or services, the Customer acknowledges that he/she has read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If the Customer does not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, the Customer should not register for or use the respective service.

2. Digital Services Covered

TUMCOS Mobile Banking

TUMCOS Mobile Banking is a digital Banking/service platform that enables eligible customers or members to access permitted account and service-related facilities through a registered mobile device.

The services available through the application may include account-related information, transaction facilities, notifications, statements and other digital services introduced by TUMCOS from time to time.

TUMCOS GoDown 360° e-Services

TUMCOS GoDown 360° e-Services is a digital platform designed to provide eligible members and customers with convenient access to TUMCOS godown and commodity-related services.

Depending upon the services enabled for the Customer, the application may provide access to godown information, commodity details, stock information, receipts, transactions, status, notifications and other related services.

3. Acceptance of Terms

Registration, activation, access or continued use of TUMCOS Mobile Banking or TUMCOS GoDown 360° e-Services shall constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

TUMCOS reserves the right to modify, amend, add or remove any provision of these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Such changes may be communicated through the application, official website, branch notices, SMS, email or any other appropriate communication channel.

4. Eligibility

Access to the Services shall be available only to eligible members, customers or users as determined by TUMCOS and subject to applicable rules and requirements.

TUMCOS may restrict or deny access where the Customer does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or where required information or verification has not been completed.

The Customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords, MPINs, OTPs, PINs and other authentication credentials.

Important Security Notice:

Customers must never share their OTP, MPIN, password, PIN or other security credentials with any person. TUMCOS will not normally request such confidential information through telephone calls, SMS, email or social media.

TUMCOS may act upon instructions received through the Services after successful authentication of the Customer, subject to applicable limits, controls and procedures.

Customers should carefully verify all transaction details before confirming any transaction or request.

A transaction or instruction once submitted may not be cancelled or reversed unless permitted by TUMCOS and applicable rules.

9. TUMCOS GoDown 360° e-Services

TUMCOS GoDown 360° e-Services may provide digital access to information and services relating to TUMCOS godown operations.

Depending upon the services enabled for the Customer, the platform may provide:

Information displayed through TUMCOS GoDown 360° e-Services is provided for operational and informational purposes.

In case of any discrepancy between information displayed through the application and official records maintained by TUMCOS , the official records maintained by TUMCOS shall be considered for verification, subject to applicable law and procedures.

11. Availability of Services

TUMCOS will make reasonable efforts to keep the Services available. However, uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, system upgrades, internet connectivity problems, power failure, server issues, technical problems, security incidents or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of TUMCOS .

12. Mobile Device and SIM Card

The Customer is responsible for the security of the mobile device and SIM card used to access the Services.

In case of loss or theft, the Customer must immediately contact the mobile network operator and inform TUMCOS through an official communication channel.

Responsibilities and obligations of the Customer.

Confidentiality and Disclosure.

To the extent not prohibited by applicable law, the TUMCOS Ltd shall be entitled to transfer any information relating to the Customer and/or any other information given by the Customer for utilization of the Payment Platform/Mobile Bankinging Service to and between its branches, subsidiaries, representative offices, affiliates, representatives, auditors and agents of TUMCOS Ltd, Intermediaries and third parties selected by Citizens TUMCOS Ltd, wherever situated, for confidential use in and in connection with the Payment Platform/Mobile Bankinging Service. Notwithstanding anything contained above, TUMCOS Ltd shall be entitled at any time to disclose any and all information concerning the Customer within the knowledge and possession of TUMCOS Ltd (a) to any party in connection with the Payment Platform/Mobile Bankinging Service provided by TUMCOS Ltd and/or its Intermediaries to the Customer, including inter alia, information relating to the cause for termination of Payment Platform/Mobile Bankinging Service (b) to any other bank/association/financial institution or any other body in respect of any negative information in respect of the Customer. This clause will survive the termination of this Agreement. The Customer hereby waives the right of privilege and privacy.

The application, software, design, logos, trademarks, graphics, content and related intellectual property associated with the Services are owned by or licensed to TUMCOS or the respective rights holders.

No ownership rights are transferred to the Customer by using the Services.

16. Suspension or Termination

TUMCOS may suspend or restrict access to the Services where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, security concerns, violation of these Terms and Conditions, regulatory requirements or technical maintenance.

The Customer may request discontinuation of the Service through the procedure prescribed by TUMCOS .

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TUMCOS shall not be responsible for losses caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including internet failures, telecommunications failures, device failure, third-party service failure, power interruption, maintenance, natural disasters or other force majeure events.

18. Electronic Records

Electronic records maintained by TUMCOS relating to transactions and service requests may be used as evidence of the relevant transaction or instruction, subject to applicable law.

19. Changes to the Terms

TUMCOS may modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated Terms and Conditions may be published through the official TUMCOS website, applications or other official communication channels.

Continued use of the Services after publication of revised Terms and Conditions shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

Any dispute relating to the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of TUMCOS , subject to applicable law.

Customers may contact TUMCOS through its official branches, office, telephone number, email address or other official communication channels for assistance, complaints or service-related issues.

Customers should report unauthorized transactions, suspicious activity or security incidents immediately.

23. Customer Declaration

By registering, activating or using TUMCOS Mobile Banking or TUMCOS GoDown 360° e-Services, the Customer confirms that:

  • I have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
  • I agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
  • I will keep my password, MPIN, OTP and other security credentials confidential.
  • I will immediately report any unauthorized activity to TUMCOS .
  • I will provide accurate and updated information whenever required.
